The Business in Development Challenge is the world's first international business plan competition for Poverty reduction and Profit. The first edition was a success: 80 full fledged business plans were developed and over 20 BiD entrepreneurs have already started their business.

75 best Round 1 business plans will be invited for Round 2
April 20-June 20 - Round 2 - Coaching
Each Round 2 participant will be matched with a personal coach to write a bankable business plan
June 20 -Deadline Round 2
June 21-June 30 -Selection of finalists
Jury assesses all Round 2 business plans and selects 25 finalists
September 25-29 -BiD finalists week
